Everliving God, who didst call thy servants Aidan and Cuthbert to proclaim the Gospel in northern England and endued them with loving hearts and gentle spirits: Grant us grace to live as they did, in simplicity, humility and love for the poor; through Jesus Christ, who came among us as one who serves, and who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Summer Service Schedule

Beginning Sunday June 10, 2012, we will move to our summer schedule and services will begin at 8:30 am.

Services at 8:30 am will continue through to Sunday, September 2, 2010, which is the Sunday before Labor Day.

Following Labor Day, on Sunday September 9, 2012, we will resume our Sunday service time of 11 am.  

Trinity Sunday -- June 3, 2012

Trinity Sunday is our Patronal feast day.  We are blessed to have the Holy Trinity as our special patrons.  You can't do better than that!  This year Trinity Sunday (the Sunday after Pentecost) falls on June 3.

To celebrate we will begin our Sunday Service with a procession down Main St. from Bell's hotel to the church lead by a piper.  The procession will form in the driveway of the hotel at 10:30 am.

(On the evening of June 3, we will close our celebration with BBQ hosted by Jost and Ellen.  We would like to invite as many of our friends as will come.  Please extend an invitation to everyone to come to our celebration party beginning at 6 pm.)  BBQ AND SERVICE CANCELED 5/30/2012  Fr. We will close the day with a sunset service overlooking the mountains.  This is should be a great day!  So plan to attend and invite your friends.

Weekly Bible Study continues each Thursdays at 7 pm.   We end by 8:30 pm. We are starting to study the Gospel of Mark.  During the next several weeks, we are going simply to read through the entire gospel together without discussing it.  After that we will return to the beginning and go through it with discussions and questions.

Everyone is invited to attend weekly Bible Study.  The meetings are held at the Rectory.  Call Fr. Jay (518-229-9689) if you need directions.

Holy Week Schedule Change

In place of the Saturday Night Vigil (April 7, 2012 8 pm), there will be a Sunrise Service at 6 am on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012.  Please call the church (797-3058) for the location of the service.

Easter Holy Communion will take place at the church at 11 am as scheduled on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012.

The Village Voices will sing Columba Kelly's arrangement of the Passion according to the Gospel of St. John. This arrangement is based on the traditional chant melody with choral parts added.

The Passion will be sung as the central part of a brief Good Friday prayer service taken from the Book of Common Prayer.

You will be moved as you hear this classic piece of ancient literature sung in solemn fashion.

Jost, Christopher and Richard began their Cursillo Weekend last night.  Please keep them in your prayers during the next three days.  

Cursillo (pronounced KUR-SEE-OH) means "short course" in Spanish.  The Weekend is a short course or a review of the Christian Life.  Cursillo was started in Spain and has been adapted to the needs of many different denominations.

Our "cursillistas" will finish the Weekend on Sunday afternoon.  Anyone from the parish is welcome to attend the Closing Ceremony that takes place at 4 pm on Sunday at the Spiritual Life Center.  A pot luck dinner follows.  If you are interested in going, let Fr. Jay know and we can form a caravan to the Closing.
